Kate Winslet has to be my favorite actress. Like many preteen girls, I fell in love with her in Titanic and she has given amazing performances after that film, especially in a world where there are not many amazing roles for women. She was amazing in Eternal Sunshine and just stunning in the films that she won the golden globe for: The Reader and Revolutionary Road.
